Terms and Conditions
- Participation in the Collabathon constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and agreement to be bound by the decisions of the organizers, which are final and binding in all matters related to the event.
- All intellectual property developed, conceived, or reduced to practice during the Collabathon shall remain the exclusive property of the creator(s), unless otherwise stipulated by a separate written agreement between the parties.
- Participants represent and warrant that all contributions are original works and do not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, patent rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third party.
- The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who engages in conduct deemed unprofessional, unethical, or in violation of these terms, including but not limited to harassment, plagiarism, or disruptive behavior.
- By participating, individuals grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display non-proprietary content created during the event for marketing, promotional, and archival purposes.
- The organizers provide access to the platform and event resources on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis, disclaiming all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose of the collaborative output.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the organizers shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Collabathon or the use of collaborative outputs.
- Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, their affiliates, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of a breach of these terms or any violation of third-party rights.
- The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Collabathon at any time without prior notice, provided that such changes are communicated via official event channels.
- These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the event organizers are registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
